Many of us have reached that moment when the cGXP "mountain" appears higher than we may be willing to climb. The tasks to accomplish seem too difficult, too numerous, and too complex to achieve before our retirement day. So, what do you do? This article provides an overview of the "Big C's" needed to achieve cGXP compliance. To achieve a true culture of compliance, we need to have a suffi- cient level of organizational commitment, clarity in operations, conformance to established require- ments, control of the controllable, and systems to confirm how we are doing. Though not a compre- hensive series of guaranteed steps to achieve full compliance, this article does provide a number of helpful approaches that can whittle that mountain down to a manageable size.
